About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Centre Director to lead a large early learning service through its next phase of growth and transformation.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a well-established centre with strong foundations and recent investment, where you will play a key role in building occupancy, strengthening team culture, and driving quality outcomes.
Operating in a fully off-the-floor capacity, you will be supported by an experienced leadership structure, including dedicated operational, compliance, and educational support functions, allowing you to focus on strategic leadership and centre performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong, values-led leadership across all areas of centre operations
Drive occupancy growth through community engagement and targeted initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop a large team, fostering a positive and cohesive culture
Oversee compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
Manage centre financial performance, including budgeting and utilisation
Embed high-quality educational practices aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework
Build and maintain strong relationships with families and the local community
About you
Proven experience as a Centre Director (or an experienced Assistant Director ready to step up)
Strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire teams
Commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving occupancy
Sound understanding of compliance, regulation, and quality frameworks
Passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
