Our client, Hunter Pain Specialists, has been providing care since 1999 and is recognised as one of Australia’s leading and most experienced private pain management clinics. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the team supports patients living with persistent chronic pain through treatment, education and tailored care.
With consulting locations in Broadmeadow, Tuggerah and East Maitland, Hunter Pain Specialists are dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life.
This role also works across a broader group of interconnected healthcare services, including clinical trials, infusion services and psychology programs - offering a truly integrated approach to patient care.
About the opportunity
This is a unique part-time opportunity (25 hours per week) for a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to step into a newly created role with significant scope and impact.
Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you will take ownership of building awareness, engagement and referral pathways across multiple service lines.
With a largely untapped landscape, this role offers a “blank canvas” for someone who enjoys developing strategy, mapping stakeholders and driving meaningful outcomes through face-to-face engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a structured business development strategy across multiple healthcare services
Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, Specialists, Practice Managers and Allied Health professionals
Promote clinical trials, infusion services and pain programs through targeted outreach and education
Increase referral pathways and patient flow across all business units
Identify growth opportunities through stakeholder mapping and market insights
Track engagement, leads and outcomes, collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective marketing and ensure compliance with healthcare and AHPRA guidelines
About you
This role will suit a self-motivated, commercially minded professional who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment.
You will bring:
Proven experience in business development, account management or a relationship-driven role
Exposure to the healthcare sector, with medical representative experience highly regarded
Confident communicator who can engage, influence and build trust across diverse stakeholders
Proactive and resilient, with the drive to build and sustain long-term partnerships
Strategic and organised, able to plan, prioritise and deliver outcomes
High levels of accountability, integrity and professionalism
Most importantly, you will be someone who enjoys being out in the field, building connections and representing a purpose-driven healthcare organisation.
