About the opportunity
Within the Eire business, the role of Business Analyst defines and implements tailored solutions to contribute to the delivery of critical outcomes for digital transformation by turning data into relevant information in a timely manner. The position is an important one in supporting decision making and business improvement.
As Business Analyst you will:
- Contribute to, support and implement the business transformation strategic requirements
- Coordinate and carry out agreed projects from scoping, planning and prioritising through to execution, liaison and finalisation and sign off/completion
- Contribute to the development and implementation of commercially orientated practices to ensure continuous improvement and competitive advantage
- Extract and provide data on a monthly basis relating, but not limited, to financial processes
- Provide analysis and support around key metrics/insights through data manipulation
- Proactively identify, analyse, recommend and implement tailored solutions to address and align with business transformation strategy and outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather solution requirements to effectively implement, document, track and verify adequacy throughout the solution lifecycle.
This is the perfect opportunity for a Business Analyst with a minimum 5 years commercial/professional experience in medium to large organisations, degree qualified in accounting and proven ability with data manipulation, financial analysis and dashboard creation. Ideally you will have Microsoft Power BI and/or SQL experience.

Besides our desirable personal attributes, we would also love for you to be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Proficiency in computerised accounting packages and Microsoft applications, especially Excel as well as Power BI or SQL
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to extract and document information and requirements
- Effective communication skills with proven ability to influence and communicate at all levels, with a strong questioning ability
