Industrial Gaskets and Sealants is a well-established, locally owned manufacturing business based in Heatherbrae. The company specialises in industrial gaskets, sealing solutions, and precision-cut components for clients across mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, and heavy industry. With over two decades of experience, the business has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and responsiveness.

About the Role

This Administration Assistant role provides essential administrative and operational support to the team. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to keep processes organised and support smooth day-to-day operations.

You will be part of a close-knit team of 10, working alongside two other team members in administration. The team values a hands-on approach; from customer enquiries through to production, you will see the full picture of how the business runs and have the chance to make a positive impact. The role offers variety, combining structured, process-driven work with ad hoc tasks and supporting the implementation of process improvements.

Hours:24 hours per week – flexible around school hours or 3 days/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbox and emails

  • Enter data for orders, stock, and internal systems

  • Prepare and send statements, invoices, and certificates

  • Coordinate freight bookings and goods receipting

  • Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and files

  • Follow up on quotes and customer communications

  • Support ad hoc admin tasks and process improvements

  • Help maintain ISO compliance

About You

  • Proven administration experience

  • Strong attention to detail and high-volume data entry skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proactive, flexible, and willing to support team needs as required
