Rebecca Nesbitt (Bec) joined the peoplefusion team as a Recruitment Consultant in April 2022. She has worked within the recruitment sector for 3 years and enjoys the fast-paced nature of the role.

Prior to this role, she was working in high volume recruitment as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Skout Solutions where she provided specialised recruitment solutions for a range of industries throughout the Hunter, Central Coast and Western Sydney on a monthly basis. Bec also worked at UGL quickly discovering she had a knack for recruitment, successfully recruiting 300 candidates for a very success project – now that’s a lot of interviews!

These experiences equipped Bec with the skills and resources to source the perfect candidate across a range of industries – a priority here at peoplefusion.

Her career started out in office administration, which has given her the foundation she needs to be an organised and dedicated recruitment consultant. This involved working on two major shutdowns for a well-known engineering company, which gave her the skills to be flexible and adapt to change.

In her position as Recruitment Consultant, Bec sources, pre-screens, and interviews candidates before finding them the perfect role. She enjoys meeting with her candidates in person so she can get a better feel for what they’re looking for and what will tick their boxes.

Bec feels right at home when she walks in the door to peoplefusion and is enjoying working within a friendly and compassionate team atmosphere.

A fun fact about her is that in a previous life she was a small business owner in the mining sector and knows a thing or two about hair styling and cutting.

If Bec could give any advice to recruitment consultants, it would be to: “always have an open mind whilst interviewing the candidate in front of you.”
